i want to get resident evil 5, grandtheft auto 4, halo 3, metal gearr solid 4, assasin's creed. all those games have astonishing graphics. but which of the two systems would have hotter more realistic graphics versions. the 360 or the ps3?

the graphics are almost identical on both systems. It comes down to high def tv , both systems im sure look just as good

when played on 1080 i. You can go to gamespot.com and view the side by side comparisons they look the same, as for the games all the games you listed aside from Halo 3 and metal gear will be on both systems, they might say they are exclusive for ps3 but only for 6 months. GTA 4 will be out on 360 6 months earlier than PS3.

Halo 3 is only xbox and MGS4 is only ps3 per their last announcement, so, other than that it goes game by game. Some say Sony while others say 360. I have both and I would say you are crazy if you can see the difference in games on both systems. I have tried a few on mine and they look identical.

if you are looking for realistic graphics.. then I would say the xbox 360.. sony cant compare to the 360.. but that is just my opinion along with these other ppl.. everyone is going to say different.. but yea.. the ps3 does have good graphics dont get me wrong.. but the ps.. only has good graphics in the video part.. when it comes to gameplay its horrible.. and thats where the 360 comes in.. and its all about the gameplay =)
