I'm looking to buy a new laptop, and thinking about getting a Toshiba with Centrino Duo. Will the Intel庐 Graphics Media Accelerator 950 be enough to play the Sims 2 on this laptop?

ill tell u wut though, as long as ur laptop has at least 128 MB on the graphics card, u should be able to play just about any typical pc game, like the sims.

I think that the 950 uses a 'shared memory' structure. Shared memory means the 'chip' burnt onto the laptop motherboard uses main RAM as texture memory. It should be fine for the Sims and older programs, but only barely if at all with newer and future games like Doom 3. If you're using the laptop for gaming I recommend finding a one that uses the ATi Radeon, or nVidia GeForce series.
