Is it possible for the wii graphics to ever improve?

I own a wii, and i really like it. I actually didn't think the graphics were that much different than the other systems but i recently have played a few 360 games and there is a noticeable difference, in time can the wii graphics ever become closer to where its not such a big difference, i know they'll never be totally the same.

Well, in some games, the graphcs actually are noticeably better, but yes, Nintendo Wii graphics can improve. That's what's great about hooking it up online. Nintendo sends any system updates straight to your Wii. If they ever develop an update that will allow future games to use enhanced graphics, they'll send it straight to you and you'll download it. If you bought an N64, you'll remember that you could buy an Expansion pack you insert into the front compartment, or some games (Zelda: Majora's Mask) actually came with one, and a lot of games had a feature in the options menu that would detect if you had the expansion pak, and it would enhance the graphics. It was pretty cool.

Well in time the game developers will learn to squeeze the most out of the available hardware much as they had to with the N64, but the Xbox and PS3 will always have the edge because they are more powerful systems, the same rule applies to them, the graphics for both can still be improved to a point. Wii was never meant to compete in that way which was why it is so much more affordable.

im very sorry but if u have obtained a wii u will not be satisfied the graphics which arnt as good as a ps2...the game with the best graphics on a wii is POKEMON BATTLE REVOLUTION which is a last minute tax cash in for nintendo a total waste of money go to any review site they'll tell u also if u ever get the chance get a ps3 GET IT unless ur a fan of the xbox360 and u would have to get an elite for a better experiance....but ps3 comes factory blu ray xbox360 elite dont and theyere same price

you can by an HD adapter if you have a HD tv I bought one and it really improved the way the games look, it best works on zelda

To a point, because the Wii's HARDWARE (i.e. memory, graphics processing CPUs) is simply not as capable of rendering and reproducing the number of pixels and polygons as the PS3 and XBox 360. This is certainly NOT a gaming system for people who desire top-rate grapics.

As someone else noted programmers will do their best to squeeze every bit of life out of the system, and software system updates may also improve the efficiency of the Wii, but there is just a physical limit.

If you look at early PS2 and PS2 games that came out near the release of the PS3 the graphics are noticebly different (with the latter being much better).
