New Video / Graphics Card?

I need a new graphics card. PCI Express X16. I want to be able to play the latest games at a good frame rate. Preferably direct x 10 capable. Is this possible for $200 or under.

The new AMD ATi cards are in that price range. They offer the lastes and greatest. While performance wise they are a tad slower than the Nvidia 8800, but they cost way less and just as effective. They come in 256 and 512 memory sizes and are one hell of a bargin. They also supposrt DirectX 10.1 which is the lastest out. I myself am thinking about getting one to replace me Nvidia 7600gt. Only issue is that they are only 1-2 weeks old and hard to find because of the demand.

That is a good site for computer parts. I would look for an Nvidia Geforce, 8600 or so.

lol under 200$ ok latest games you need an 8800 gt though iv played some on my old 6600 le but games are to jittery and mainly crash save your cash and get a 8800GT dont need a GTX since there practically the same minus a few pipes but $299-320 would be more realistic but then you might need a new PSU upgrade too so do you home work

For the $200 budget, the HD3850 is the best match, great price/performance card. Its DX10 capable and plays DX10 games well except for Crysis which even stronger cards struggle with. Best card in that price range and blows away any other cards in that category.
