Has anyone installed windows (vista) onto one of the new macs with this graphics card and would you be able to run it at full quality? Any predictions for it handling crysis? (The system would also have 2048mb of Ram)
Is the graphics card in the new iMacs (ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256MB) up to playing games such as half life 2?
based on ur specs u can run HL2 flawlessly at the best settings. but i wouldn't play games on a mac. when HL2 Ep2 comes out, you'd have to be using SLI or Crossfire to get he best reaults and so far as i know, macs can support only grafiks card due to their size... sell ur mac. it's valuable. and get a dell XPS.

Yes, the ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256MB is more than capable of coping with HL2. HL2 is actually quite a forgiving games in terms of system spec. and allows decent frame rate on some fairly low spec machines with reduced graphics settings.
Obviously the iMac is not a gaming machine, so it will not be up to the comparable PC performance.
As to Crysis, too early to say what will be the required spec., although you are right, the developers have said 2mb of RAM as a minimum. Given that this is well beyond the average system (based on Steam's data which they publish) this tends to suggest that the Crysis developers are not trying too hard to make the game run on lower spec machines.
