First off since you obviously are looking for the top of the line GPU read this:

Then spend $440 (just the one massive card) on this

Benchmarked 12.5% on average faster than a $6xx 8800 Ultra ^^

SLi 2 of these for 520$,

SLi in benches at Toms, doesnt seem to reap much benefit over a single high end card, is most of their benches they perform about the same.. but in some the SLi has a huge leap in performance, its probably because SLi needs better drivers...but then again, Newegg doesn't have ULTRAS anymore it looks like.. and a base is 8800GTX is like 480$, so 40$ difference but OC versions go past 500.. so it would be best to get the 8800GT and SLi those for better performance at similar price, and if better drivers come out better for you lol

heres the benchies, of sli ahead

ok since u got a mother board that can support sli but not crossfire (2 radeon cards), and the geforce 8800 ultra seems to be out of your budget (650$) which is around like 700-900, i REALLY REALLY REALLY suggest getting the radeon hd 3870 x2, make sure it says x2 at the end, because this card benchmarks show better fps than the 8800, and also the "x2" at the end means it has 2 cards/cores in one bus. Meaning its technically having sli or crossfire in one card, also leaving u room to put a really nice sound card on ur other pci express bus. Another thing is that while the radeon hd 3870 X2 gets better fps than the gefroce 8800...its also only 450-650$....amazing...trust me on this. You can also try putting geforce 8800 GT (not GTS or GTX) on sli close to 650$s...but seriously once again...i reccommend the radeon hd 3870 x2 1gig GDDR3(FREAKKING ONE GIG OF MEMORY ON A CARD..THATS INSANE) GUD LUCK MANG

and here is the link to the card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...

To John Y:

If its an SLI board... why tell him to go buy two 3870x2 cards which are crossfire? You want him to waste money? pffft.

2 of those. theyre overclocked compared to the stock speeds of 600mhz (I think). And theyre SLI not Xfire :)
